To me Bruce was the company.

I didnt know any of these other guys.
Jeff is mainly just the paysite guy as far as i know.

Bruce was the front line, what i know of Matrix is only of that of Bruce. Hes the only guy i dealt with, and my relationship was only with him.

Matrix is great content wise, but it is the realtionship with the people behind the comapny that make it.

It just seems different.

Its just like a McDonalds now without Ronald.

It sucks when you establish a realtionship like this and you hear
of this kind of news. It makes you wonder where you stand with the new guy taking over.

I have to concur...I spent a few weeks blowin up his ICQ and he was always so nice he even got a little feisty with me...which is the mark of a great victim.

Jeff is a great guy, very capable, competent and damn sexy. We're working a good deal with him right now. Love that content.

Yes Danny comes from computer sales. The bottom line is he know how to take care of his clients and do good business! We were all new to this crazy wonderful industry at one point!

As someone who knows Matrix Content really well and Bruce Keeler on a personal basis, I can tell you the true story, not this smoke screen...

Bruce got canned for smoking weed in the men's room.

The owner went into the bathroom right after Bruce got out and the place smelled like "Dope" according to the owner of matrix. Bruce tried to tell him that he had "taken a Big Shit and lit some toilet paper on fire to neutralize the smell".

The boss who I will leave nameless then went into Bruce's desk (an illegal search) and found a warm pipe with weed still in the bowl.

Bruce was then canned two days after. He also had to walk home at least five miles because he got a ride from someone else at work that day.

Luckly it was the Bang Bus that picked hin up.

#1) With regard to the new guy... I'd bet most of us around here did something else 'plain jane' with computers before we got into the porn busines. So, we can give him a chance. The real test will be August to see how this guy acts once we get him trashed out of his mind. LOL

#2) Jeff is cool. We always have fun drinking and barely staying out of trouble at the conferences. Jeff, with as much as I see you on GFY you never say hi ya bastard. What's up with that?! :321GFY

#3) In as much as I enjoyed the rediculously funny pot story... I would say that I'd be surprised if any company in this industry would fire a valued employee over smoking a bit of whacky tabacky. :1orglaugh: Least of all, a company that sells stills and video content!

I hope that Bruce is happily moving on to greener pastures. Phoenix was the first time he and I really had a chance to get acquainted and I thought he was sincere and a class act. Good luck Bruce!!!
