Where does high converting traffic come from

Whats the difference between shitty traffic and traffic that converts at 1:100

You could get 50,000 hits that might make you 5 sales and 50,000 hits that make you 100 sales or more. Doesn't most traffic come from TGP's? Where else is this traffic coming from? and if the sources are basically the same than why is some traffic so much better than other traffic. :Oh crap

There is no money in porn.

RayBonga 04-15-2006 04:10 AM

That's the million dollar question.

I doubt anyone will post anything specific in here.

Organic SE traffic.

Just ask yourself who the people are that PAY for porn and where they are. Chances are most people that surf for FREE porn are not active puchasers of erotica.

Hence, 1:5000 (or whatever) from places where people go for FREE porn.

juve20 04-15-2006 06:04 AM

darksoul 04-15-2006 06:06 AM

When I set up my websites, I also setup TGP's to market them. Niche specific. TGP's have been the way to move my traffic, as my TGP's now account for over 70% of all my sales and traffic. Having an affiliate program helps get other webmasters promoting your sites.

I also positioned my websites on the key search engines - Yahoo and Google to receive traffic for the niche I market. This helps in hits, but I think you need more hits on the site to gain a higher place on the search list.

I tried Google Adwords which didn't seem to help me much. I ended up spending around $300 to $400 per month and my traffic or my sales neither increased or decreased.

One other thing that helped, I set up a banner site that helped drive traffic to my sites. However, you have to be careful with these programs, as there are guys out there using auto-robots for hits - which can sometimes be bad traffic (traffic that doesn't result into sales or hits to your sights).

Since the days of pop-ups and spamming are gone, those were ways to increase hits. Traffic exchange programs have gotten alot smarter in the past few years, so you can't just send crappy traffic to other sights, or you won't get returns.

TIME IS THE KEY. IF YOU HAVE A GOOD SIGHT, YOU'RE HONEST and YOU KEEP THE SIGHT UPDATED, OVER TIME YOU'LL GET THE HITS YOU NEED.

If i told you i would be out of biz, BUT, all you basically have to do is something find a market that has never been tapped for traffic..
