My email is unavailable probably once or twice a week. I don't host anything important there, but it's still annoying.

They must be overselling cus I have a virtual account their. It was like $10 for 1 year with 1000 gigs/month.

Some my friends have the same problem... My sites are often down or slow for me, I have contact them, they advised me deleting the cache from my browser :1orglaugh There is any problem in their servers, my site counter confirms traffic losing... :disgust

My Dreamhost accounts are all up and running. No complaints here.

Yeah, Dreamhost has a lot of problems. Adult sites tend to do worse there because they usually are running scripts and have a lot of traffic. I've heard of a lot of people having trouble there. See my sig... you want have any trouble with E5.

GotWebHost's overage fees are at .80 on overage, but a lot cheaper if prepaid. But I have a feeling your idea of cheap and mine are two different things.

I paid like $10 for a whole years worth of 1000 gigs a month at dreamhost.

I have a few side projects on Dream Host and have had little to no problems considering the money I pay to host the sites there. Sure I wouldn't put some 200k uniques a day site on there running off some mega MYSQL data base, but for the price I have found Dream Host perfect for medium to small projects.

I had one site on there a few months ago hit a decent spike traffic wise due to some publicity it got and I was suprised and happy to see Dream Host took the spike in stride and there was no slow down.

So, I have no complaints with them at all. I even like how they send e-mails out when they are expecting down time. I doubt many discount hosts do that. Oh, and their customer newsletter is usually pretty damn funny as well.

many people have problems with dreamhost.. I have many accounts with different hosting companies and dreamhost isn't the worst.. I have listed hun galleries with dreamhost and it was up 100% of the time.

Thank you very much. To be honest, I never even wanted to include the $10-30 plans, but goodgirl figured it was a good way to let people try us out.

That logic has pretty much worked as the majority of people that started off with a virtual plan have upgraded to an SEO plan.

I think my point was that I agree dreamhost isn't very good and are way overselling.

I tried them out and have a couple of sites on them, seem good and real easy to use. Although they did go down like the first night :mad:. So for this reason I'm still gonna give em a shot but I'm not gonna give up my WebAir account! :thumbsup
