Anyone know WildPass.com? They're using some of my stolen content
 

I don't know these guys personally, can anyone give me some contact info? They are using a clip from one of my DVDs on one of their sites (I'm not at 30 posts yet, so I can't post URLs here).

I try not to be a litigious asshole, but seeing my stuff used blatantly like this doesn't make me too happy. At the very least I know they don't have 2257 docs on this scene.

What is stolen there, those video clips? Looks like that is an affiliate, not the actual company being promoted, that is stealing your stuff.

Yeah the video is from a scene starring Keri Sable from one of our movies. The content has not been licensed to anybody. I wasn't sure if it was an affiliate or not, since the 2257 link at the bottom linked to a WildPass.com page.

What is the standard procedure for handling this sort of situation? Again I'm not trying to be any bigger of an asshole than need be.

i would probably contact wildcash, they're a pretty reputable company and im sure they would help you out. if not then you need to send the person whos gallery is a c&d letter. if you talk to wildcash they might cancel the persons account for you.

it looks like all the content from the wildcash site "stayafterclass" is watermarked xmovies.com , so if thats you , then thats the problem. but i would bet dollars to donuts it wasnt them at fault prob whomever they got the content from..

I could see a site using stolen content in a members area , but not on fhg's it would be suicide..

No, none of that other stuff is mine. I have a feeling most of the stuff is legitimtately licensed, and other (like mine) is not. The site xmovies.com has nothing to do with me. I'll have to ask around with some DVD producers if they know who those guys are.

I have never licensed any of my content anywhere, but I'm sure that Keri Sable scene has been pirated a few times. Just trying to nip it in the bud when I can.

Quite possible that a content broker licensed that content illegally to wildcash.

ok , just making sure.. so the person it looks like you should go after is xmovies.com because the page you posted had videos watermarked by xmovies.com , the affiliate was just using content provided by the sponsor.. and the content supplied to the sponsor seems to be from xmovies.com

that's where the problem is i bet - Old Pueblo has a horrible reputation for screwing over producers - supposedly it's one guy working out of his basement. there are a couple of threads here with Old Pueblo drama.

OK I just did a little more digging... I remember that at one point Adult Legal (CD-ROM Distributors) had screwed up and was selling our content for a brief moment (Old Pueblo had a content deal with them that excluded our movies, but they screwed up and included them). The content was pulled from their site when we informed them, but I guess a few sales were made in that window. I will talk to them today about this.

Would not surprise me to much if they did not pull it all.

I just logged into their content sale area, and I can't find any of our movies. Of course they could be selling it off the record. I don't know. I guess the date of sale that Matt bought it would be a good clue.

(Danger Mouse) I'll have my tech remove your titles from our servers Monday first thing, I did recieve your email but am unable to respond as my outgoing mail system is not working from home. I too have heard bad things about
Old Pueblo and believe thats where the main problem lies.

I will dig up our contract for those titles and will email you back Monday when my mail is working from (work).
