VERY important question re: beer.
Do you use a coaster? my desk is white so glasses leave a nasty mark... i usually pour heineken/local (1 liter) bottles in a big beer glass, and use whatever paper/dvd case i have handy as coaster, can't drink from the bottle, share your technique... discuss!:upsidedow

The Australian way is to drink them in a bottle which we call a stubbie and put a stubbie holder on them ( beer Cozzie) this then insulates the beer becuase you must drink it at the correct temp...We were handing out beer cozzies at the Phoenix Forum
:thumbsup :pimp |

also 'correct temp' is a vague term, they drink it fucking warm in england, can't stand that, what's the usual in Australia? |
I just got some VB from my mate who went to Sydney... It's been a while since I drank that! No cozzie though :disgust
They were cans but... |

1. Most of the time here in England it's fucking cold, so our room temperatures are a little different to much of the USA. 2. Cold beer deadens the tastebuds on your tongue - that's why most American beer is best served as cold as possible, so you can't tell it's actually made from cats piss. 3. The most common Australian beer is the USA is Fosters. Most Australians wouldn't be caught dead drinking Fosters. In fact, given a choice between burning to death or having the flames extinguished by Fosters, Australians would lie back and try to enjoy the barbeque. |
That was a "very important" question? :winkwink:
|
why cant you drink it out of the bottle?
