What do you think of AWMM
 

Just recived email from wegcash anouncing their new product. What do you think ? Is it good,bad does anyone has it?
Just wanted your opinions before i download it :)

mediocre at best, it says everything is encrypted but it's not, i was able to intercept all of the msgs in plaintext, i havent tried using the yahoo/aim support yet but thats about the only thing its got going for it, and theres already trillian for that stuff.

Ya, I gotta wonder what's the point, other than joining their big marketing database. ;>

yeah i had a friend put a sniffer on them there ports and it didnt encrypt shit:) kinda reminds me of yahoo IM but with a banner farm:)

its decent.. something you use for a few hours then wonder why you downloaded it to begin with. features are alright, if you use aim/yahoo/msn/icq there's other programs out there that'll put them all in one, this one does that - but with ads.

I just downloaded it. A lot like Trillian. If any of you bothered to read what it says, it only claims to encrypt messages between AWMM users... via OpenSSL. So the encryption is still pretty trivial to break, but better than plain text.

I'll probably go back to Trillian.

Trillian encrypts all conversations if you set it too, as long as its between a trillian client..


Go under each protocols properties and check the try secure connection box..

yes buran, the problem is it doesn't encrypt msgs between awm users.

Read their terms... I'll pass on the spam. Trillian works great for me.

can everyone ditch icq and just go with yahoo pager for my sake? i'd appreciate it, thanks fuckheads
that way i wouldnt even have to use trillian anymore!
