Ever had to re-"train" your laptop battery?
 

I am having to retrain this battery I have for my laptop...

the time is not matching up with the actual amount of power, so you have to power up with the cord and let it drain all the way down until it shuts off, the power up with the cord again, etc....over and over again until the time code starts matching up to the actual time...

anyone else have to do this? it gets annoying after a while...LOL

Man mine does not even offer the option to see how much time the batter should have left. Just a %

mine has the percent, but also has a time code too

right now I am on 0 minutes with 0% left, and it has been that way for 15 minutes :1orglaugh

No bios option to reset the battery, and clock?

I have an older gateway laptop I had to this with last week, and after ripping through Bios options, there was a battery reset, took about 2-3 hours to run, but battery is working as it always should've been now.

I seldom run mine on battery...usually on AC here in the office.

Maybe I should drain the battery and recharge occasionally, though.
