let me get this straight... you can
burn an american flag at a protest, but not a mexican flag?
Why is it in the United States that we have lost our sense of nationalism? It seems as if the idea of being "an American"** is being beaten out by "insert country-American". I'm a Mexican-American, I'm an African-American, I'm a Cuban-American.... what about, I am an American? I'm here because I want to be in one of the greatest countries to live and prosper, and for that I exchange my nationality from X country to the United States. **The use of the term American to refer to residents of the United States of america is not meant to exclude members of Canada, Central or south America as Americans.
