Hosting is the backbone of your operation... don't go for the cheapest in that area.

does the company you chose have a good reputation?

The best deal out there may not really be that great if they don't have a solid backbone operation. Even though they're cheaper, I'd prefer to go for the name, quality, and backend operation.

They are well known and reputable, I just have not spoken to any of their henchmen, I just hit them up out of the blue

yea Webair will match anyones price and Mike would never do that to ya.. i would stay with a company you know is going to be stable all the time

The nicest most popular guys in the industry may not be the best people to host with.

I love poppy and we host some stuff with Jupiter.

But our core hosting decision is very important. Often network guys and tech's don't talk / write as well as they design networks or run servers. I think that it's important to make the decision based on reliability, uptime, and support above cost, reputation, and exposure at the shows.

But it really depends on what you're hosting.

You get what you pay for.
