Letter to President Bush ? I?m heading to Mexico
Dear President Bush,
I am about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I?m going to walk across the border from the U.S. (where I am a citizen) into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I?m sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So would you mind telling your buddy, Presidente Vicente Fox, that I am on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following: 1. Free medical care for me and my entire family. 2. English speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not. 3. All government forms need to be printed in English. 4. I want my kids to be taught by English speaking teachers. 5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history. 6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down. 7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch while they attend your schools at your cost. 8. Please make them eligible for government scholarships and student loans for college, should we stay illegally for a longer period of time. Make sure they do not try to collect and money from the loans, as we have no intention of repaying them. 9. I will need a Mexican driver?s license so I can get easy access to government services. 10. I do not plan to have any auto insurance, and I won?t make any effort to learn local traffic laws. 11. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Presidente Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English. 12. I plan to fly the US flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals. 13. I would also like to have a nice job without paying taxes, and don?t enforce any labor laws or tax laws. 14. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy. I know this is an easy request, because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the USA from Mexico. I am sure that Presidente Fox won?t mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. Sincerely, A US citizen A friend of mine sent this to me, I didn?t write it, and I am not sure who did, but interesting nonetheless. |
It is from someone that has no fucking clue to what they are dealing with in ref to the immigration problems.
And ANYONE that would take an education from a child from any country, is just a piece of shit. |

Maybe first you'd like to take suggestions from your grandparents who came to the U.S. illegally before bothering the Pres with your rhetoric :winkwink:

This is actually the second version that I've seen in the past few days. And I'm 100% liking them.
All this bullshit about the illegals getting their fucking rights. Fuck your rights, you have none until you become a citizen. Sorry for a wab to come over the border and fucking get on welfare is just fucking bullshit. Use my system that I pay taxes into and sit on your ass and have 20 fucking kids. Fuck that shit. I'm not against all of the illegals that come over the border, but a lot of them tend to think they deserve much more than they really do. I also do have some friends that were illegals, but they became citizens, they made their own businesses. The ones I can't stand are the ones that are using our system, deport them, deport the whitetrash too that are using our system, we don't need them in the USA. |

Immigrants were invited to this country at that time, should they fill out the proper paperwork, and prove they had a trade that would contribute to the general economy. I understand that the paperwork may have been much less, but nonetheless, their migration here was 100% legal, they obtained social security numbers legally, learned the language, raised a family, and did it all by the book. What they did not do is pile into the trunk of a car (or boat in their time...lol) and illegally enter the country. Rules are rules. |

Years later he ended up in Chicago with his own, ahemmm, furniture store. :winkwink: |

Who were inviting immigrants into the country again? The natives or the opressionists? If the opressionists then they did it to oppress the natives some more. In the eyes of the natives, the true owners of this land, they were illegal immigrants including the ones that were inviting immigrants :winkwink: And contribute what? Some hardline statements with a heavy itallian accent? :helpme Majority Itallians that came to this country in those days were totally uneducated with no special skills, they only contributed physical labor to this country just as the mexs today except they'd done one thing that outdone citizens from any other country. They brought organized crime to this country to the extent that no other nationals did :Oh crap |

I'll point out that one of my Grandparents was Native American as well. Not full blood, but still. So that card won't work on me either. Nice Italian insult. Cute. POINT OF FACT: My grandparents broke no laws by coming here, as the illegals being discussed above, did. You can argue the other side until you are blue in the face, you still have no foundation. (note to seven: thanks for participating in the thread though :) Nice to be in a thread that isn't labeled "Would you hit it?") |

I was talking with my buddy about the immigration issue yesterday. He works at a major hospital here in San Francsico as an anastesia tech. He specifically said that the hospital does see lots of illegals come up from Mexico to get major operations (for free) and then they move back. It's a specific problem the hospital has encountered.
I'm torn on the whole immigration issue. Both my parents came from Italy (legally) so I can see both sides of the coin. |

They dont have to accept them or provide healthcare? Why do they?` |
I didn't get too deep in the convo with him.... but basically there's a law that says a hospital can't deny someone medical care do to no issurance. The government basically pics up the tab. I'm not sure how it works exactly though.
What I do know is that my buddy is super smart and his brother in law is the head anistesiologist at that same hospital. So he does know what he's talking about. So I have to say I don't feel it's right for illegals to come across the border just to take advantage of our hospital system. If they plan on staying here, contributing to our economy and eventually becoming citizens that's one thing. But coming here just to take advantage of our better hospitals and then going right back over the border I think is unfair to us. |

my great grandfather jumped ship in NYC to start a new life here.He was illegal and italians were hated here. The Irish complained they took jobs for lower wages. This problem isnt the mexicans its the the american companies that hire them, people seem to lose sight of that. Also what taxes are they going to pay when picking peaches at 60 cents a bushel with five kids. lol This is a big smoke screen.
