Anyone ever seen that movie Lock Stock and 2 smoking barrels
 

If you have, I was just wondering how funny it would be to try the scam that the guy comes up with about the miracle dildo or penus pump or what ever that was. It would be hillarious if that ever worked.

Another movie like it (I own Snatch and Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels) is Boondock Saints, also a great movie, similar directing style, not same directors though. Guy Ritchie is awesome, sadly he doesn't have any movies planned to come out yet. :(

I love that film. I think a neat part is when the chick comes out of the couch and starts shotting up the place. I love how that is fast ass machine gun, and they've slowed it down to like a bullet per second. You can see the kick from each round ripple up her arms towards her body. Awesome!

My favorite character is "Big Chris" He is one bad ass mother fucker. Big Chris has a son "little Chris". At one point "dog" holds "little Chris" hostage at knife point in "Big Chris'" car. Big Chris sees this only too late, and is forced to drive dog to retrieve some money. Chris, being street smart decides the best way to save his sons life is to drive their car into the back of a parked car. While everyone is still dazed, Big Chris pulls dog's head into the door, and basically smashes the guys brains out. Truly a powerful scene.

Great film and not like snatch, it's just similar in that it's cockney criminals types trying to make a living. LLock Stock came out first.

Vinny Jones is great, he used to be a professional soccer player sort of UK OJ except you cannot see Vinny hurting a fly.

Vinny was and remains a vicious bastard in real life. He may not kill women and children but he fights like an animal and needs little excuse. The character has a lot of Vinny in it.

if you get a chance check out the BMW commercial that Guy Ritchie directed. it has Madonna in it and is funny as hell:thumbsup

Vinny Jones is a great lead actor I think. He's the closest Britan has to a 'could be' Stallone or Schwarzenagger.

I caught his new movie last time I was over in the UK. It was pretty good. I tried to tell people over here about it but they all said "Vinny who?"

He's great when he sticks to those characters because they come naturally for him. Be ineteresting to see him try to play something more involved but then Stallone and Arny had trouble in that area too.

But then he's better suited to bad guys who are vicious.

Maybe you never saw a lot of the on-field fights he got into? The man knows how to hurt people. When he used to play for Wimledon i think, with the crazy gang. That shit was violent.

By the way, yes.. great movie. Personally, i prefer Snatch, but they're both on my top 10 favourite list for sure.

Lock stock is my favorite, I watched the living daylights out of it when it came out.(found it by accident at the video store when everything else was rented)Also like Snatch they both have this maniacal quality about them. Lock Stock was ok but not fantastic like a few are saying. You people are talking like the movie is the best thing sliced bread.

It didn't sell very well & I know 3 people who saw the movie & actually walked out on the film.
Sure rent the film, I enjoyed it but don't build it up and say the movie kicks ass.
It doesn't.

I've seen Vinny appear in a couple of big hits here in US (like Swordfish with Travolta) and the guy "Turkish" from snatch is getting there as well (he's in "The One" with Jet Lee)

Depends totally on your point of view and probably upbringing too. It kicks ass totally as far as I'm concerned but then I lived on many very rough estates in London as a kid... *shrug*
