Considering offline business - any thoughts?
spending my life behind a screen is getting old, fast
might consider starting an offline biz. any recommendations? I guess my criteria are fast learning curve, minimal start up costs (don't want to sink thousands into something I might not enjoy), and hopefully something sociable and fun thanks! |

Not sure how well this would work out, but something big here, is phone booths in stores. To make long distance calls. You can use vonage, and work out a deal with the store owner, so that they get a %. make out a list of the price per min in all the countries, and then you get you cut. You need a fast connection, and a vonage account.

if coffee shop is too high, look into coffee kiosks or stand alone drive through coffee franchise.

1) Debit card machines in stores.
2) Arcade machines in high populated areas. 3) Advertising agency (can be broken down into many categories) 4) used car dealership (costs can be high though but return of investment is high) 5) selling antiques in ebay. 6) Importing useful goods from china and selling them on ebay ??? |
plenty of ideas at the Entrepreneur magazine...
