    Thought you weren't supposed to get Adware/Spyware/etc with Firefox?

    The other night I went to a site, my virus protection alerted me to a trojan being installed and stopped it, M$ Anti-spyware notified me of 4 pieces of spyware being installed and stopped it, but apparently they missed 67 other pieces including one really nasty Adware that kept popping up every 12 minutes and making my system try to install M$ Office updates. The only way I could get rid of it was to roll back my registry, what a pain in the ass.

    So much for it being the "safer" browser?

          Don't start!!

          Firefox is a browser - not an AV proggy. Depending on calls and bullshit on any page - any browser is gonna pull down shit adware, viruses in "images" and hell knows what else.

          You notice the target for the crapware? Always damned MS products Chances are the adware would "work better" if you did have IE running jact.
          XXX TLD's - Another mosquito to swat.
