i believe we were discussing program names not nicks, but since you question my reasoning: for the most part with the exception of certain people that have made a good impression on me, I HATE people. if something happened that were to wipe out most of the planet, i would love it. i have absolutely no problem with death or torture in any form anymore. most people always use the copout "that train of thought is just pure evil", so i decided to cut to the chase and provide no excuses for it. better?

i agree Jace. someone should go register AffiliateMonster.com or ProgramMonster.com and sell nothing but cookie-cutter turnkey Affiliate programs.

ps. if your program is about "making money" then call it something like ________Income (which means "making money"). if an affiliate is too stupid to understand what your program is about just because it doesn't have the words bucks, dollars, cash, etc in it, do you really want them as an affiliate?

The name of an affiliate program definitely sways my decision in promoting them. The other day I saw some program called Nasty Dollars. Talk about corny and unoriginal, they couldn't create a good name or site if it bit them in the ass!

Its easily recognized as a program. Over the years there were a few that didn't use these on their name, and they went by the wayside. These names are only for B to B anyway.

This seems to be an argument for the sake of argument. It's not whats IN a name but whats BEHIND a name. If you dont do business or are sick of affiliate programs because the have the word cash, dollar, money, etc. that's simply sad and childish. Why do we call a Bank a Bank, A Grocery Store a Grocercy Store, A Hardware Store a Hardware Store? Because it's what they do and represent, just like affiliate programs make people cash. Anyone with 2 functional braincells will see links that point to stuff like "our sites" or "promo materials" or what the fuck ever and not be all like lost and shit. They'll KNOW dude. LMFAO

this is true, but i know a ton of affiliates that will either hear about a new site or just be surfing and will look for the "webmasters" link if it is a site that they want to promote (not even caring what the programs name is). in the end the name doesn't really matter one way or another and it doesn't bother me THAT much. i just like to see new and creative thoughts, rather than the same old xerox clones. :(
