PayPal on Tech TV 9pm EST
 

Hi all,


For those who have had questions about PayPal and their operating procedures you might wanna tune in to Cyber Crime on Tech TV (if you have digital cable you prolly have it) tonight at 9pm East Coast time. There will be a segment on the inner workings of PayPal. Just thought i'd pass that along.

Why on Cyber Crime though...? Did they finally fuck up...?

Wish i knew! I am waiting to see. It might not be too bad. Prolly more consumer focused than webmaster focused. But i am hoping it will give me some insight into exactly what the do behind the website and on those awfully long waiting phones. Also curious as to whose interest they have in mind. I mean I besides their own of course. My bet is they'll say they are doing everything to protecting the customer.

The paypal spot was interesting but I like the guy who is selling the moon 1 acre at a time. What a fucking brilliant idea.

It is a repeat! I believe they talked about administration fuck ups and poor costumer service. :helpme

is it me or do they take more money out then they use to??

I was screwed by PayPal and would like to share this excellent resource with everyone using them!

Everyone hates the leader. I have used them for over a year and a half and moved many thousands of dollars using them and have NEVER had a problem. If you got your account placed on hold, you were doing something wrong. They will not suspend you for nothing.

Yeah, I made a couple accounts for clients that wanted to use PayPal. Of courze I was the master of the accounts sinze I kept track of the users and payments.

So they locked my accounts for making more than one, and won't give me my fucking money!!! :feels-hot

It's been over a month now, and they told me when it happened it would only take a week. I've faxed all the shit they wanted. Twice they said it was "too dark.", twice they said they "didn't receive" it!

We use only Paypal for CC card clearing. All the others we looked at want 15% + 10% hold back. The way we are growing this is nearly 19% of our turnover. They also want to restrict us on the size of order, a ceiling of $300 is useless to us, or we have to use their shopping basket or a fixed price. We do not need partners like that.
Paypal have suspended us twice, because of a stupid client who cancelled and then re-ordered. It takes them 24-36 hours to investigate and we are then back working. We have never had a fraudulent card used or had any problem getting our money when we want it.
They are the tops because they are the best at a bad business. So far nothing but praise for them.
GFED you opened accounts for clients and they suspended you. Sounds like they are doing their job right.
