it borders on unwatchable it's soooo depressing.

The truth in that movie is that strippers/pornstars/hookers tend to gravitate to total losers. :2 cents:

Cage is a great actor though.

There's a ton of semi-famous actors who had bit parts in it... didn't notice that the last time I saw it. Laurie Metcalfe, Mariska Hargitay, Lou Rawls, French Stewart, Shawnee Smith, Emily Procter...

I was heavy in AA when that came out. Saw it twice the first day it came out... Thought I could learn a few things about staying soberr. It was more depressing than the fucking meetings lmao

But the acceptance in their relationship is cool. Pretty uncommon too.

one of my all-time favorite films. brillant.

It's a great movie.... a movie that normally leaves most people stunned.
