That statement is actually 100% dead on. I'm in the deep South, far away from the border, and you wouldn't believe the number of Canadians I sat in a radiology waiting room with last summer. They were selling houses, cars, taking out loans and mortgages, dipping into retirement, etc., to come here because they couldn't get MRIs or a lot of basic treatment in Canada. They also said they would go for chemo treatments and be told there was "no room" and that they should go home and the hospital would call when they had a bed available.
And yes, I know that story is not nearly as interesting as two people fucking inside one, lol.
