Is it tolerated? Legal?
Lets say someone makes a site and site for webmastes, teaching html, php, asp, web design, etc.
Then, he makes a very big database of domains, and makes a script that visit each domain, and makes the referrer of each hit his site. Then, the site owners who thinks received some hits, visit his site, which makes him real visitors. Is that tolerated/legal, or is it a kind of attack? Thanks all for your answers! |

So, rephrased, is it illegal/untolerated to create a script that gives sites fake traffic clicks.
|
Ummmm, I'm lost.

Why do you think its stupid? |
well its not illegal, its just blind traffic. its immoral if this traffic is being sold under false pretenses, but its not like its hitbot traffic or anything.

sneaky but certainly legal.

And when used on the sites you sign up for trades with it gets your sites banned. But you wouldn't do that, right...:Oh crap
