Guess the dogs breed and examples of that cheap canon lens I was telling u about

We adopted another dog today her name is Moo Moo , they said she is a boston terrier mix. I highly doubt that so I figure here are some pics. Any ideas of what you think she is. These pics were taken with the canon 50mm 1.8 lens for 80 bucks its a steal.

yeah we have two boston terriers already and she does not remind me of them at all besides the black and white coloring.

Raven 04-11-2006 04:40 PM

Might even have a little pit bull.....

Terrier, I can see...just not Boston Terrier...

Elli 04-11-2006 04:49 PM

wtf?

Jack Russell head
the shoulders and back and stance is from a heavily muscled dog, like a larger lab or mastiff type
short nose of a pitbull/Staffordshire

I'm closer to saying pit X

Jace 04-11-2006 04:51 PM

jesus, are you starting a zoo? Next time I come over I will have to bring Animal Control to guard me :) LOL

Spunky 04-11-2006 04:51 PM

Cute looking dog..Looks more Jack to me

xenigo 04-11-2006 04:52 PM

The lens is merely OK in my book. It's not wide enough with the 1.6 multiplier to be really that useable. I can't stand having a fixed 75mm, although it is fast and sharp.

A better lens IMO would be the Canon 24mm 1.4 L

Loryn 04-11-2006 04:55 PM

Moo Moo that is soooooo cute!

Great looking doggy! I am sure he will bring you lots of joy and happiness.

YEAH FOR YOU!!! :banana

I want a doggy so bad! :( But I live in a townhouse and my backyard is not big enough for the dog I want. The giant German Sheppard. So I must wait. I was thinking of getting either a Mini Pin or a Toy Rat Terrier. But I want the big doggie and I don't want a bunch of animals in my house. I have two male cats and with a big German Sheppard that is about all I want. I don't know if I would be able to spread enough love to 2 cats and 2 dogs. With all the animals that find their way to me and then I find homes for I think I have to leave some open space or the drifters. :winkwink:

I will more than likely cave and get a little dog. But I am to rough for little dogs. Cats you can toss around and they can take it, but little dogs are more fragile. My German Sheppard will kick ass, of course he will be trained in German. hehe

Anyway your doggie is so cute. I just love him. He does look like he has some kind of bull dog in him, like a pit bull or something because he is so low and solid. I am not much on breeds of dogs. :disgust

Good find guys and great name! :thumbsup

aimeesweet 04-11-2006 05:02 PM

she's adorable...maybe part staffordshire terrier

Screaming 04-11-2006 05:03 PM

It does have the body of an American BullDog. Showed this thread to a friend that traines dog and she agrees.

yeah her head does look like jack russel, but she is much bigger than that.
that first picture doesn't show her size. she is low to the ground but solid.

LauraLee 04-11-2006 08:52 PM

Very cute dog. Just got mine back from the trainers. :)

Sarah_Jayne 04-12-2006 01:33 AM

If she has boston in her then it was mated with a much bigger dog and there is no sign in the face at all.

Jennyfer 04-12-2006 05:30 PM

very cute doggies, can't wait to have one
