Anyone ever bungee jump
 

I supposed to go this weekend and heard some mixed shit about it.

Also being afraid of heights doesn't help. :Oh crap

Haven't done it, although you could try reverse bungee jumping. I'd rather skydive than bungee jump.

Good thing about it, is it only hurts when they are wrong.

oh and if you bounce wrong you could become tangled in the bungee and end up getting choked to death.

I've done it, it was fun! Gives you quite the rush.

My x-wife did. But she has never been smart :)

theres nothing fun about plunging straight to the ground, head first, then being pulled back up at the last second. btw, if you're having bad feelings about it, thats your gut instinct telling you not to do it. listen to it.

I've done it dozens of times. The first time is the biggest thrill. Follow directions and you'll be fine. Going forward is actually scarier than going backwards, its much more visual. Looking down and forcing yourself to jump is a great adrenaline rush!

It's scarier when your at the top and you realize how high you are up, once you get over that part, the rest is fine...

Love it! Wish I could do it every day! Jumping from a plane is more fun but Bungy Jumping is way fuckin scarier.:thumbsup

I did it on a dare. My friend said, "I'll pay for it if you do it." I said as long as you go after me. He paid for both of ours and we went up. I'm soooo scared of heights, but thought, "fuck it."

We jumped over a river though. Kinda weird, but I'd take that over jumping over the hard ground.

Not yet, I don't think I have the stomach for it.

I did it in Cancun from a place that said it was certified by the "Texas Jumping Association" :1orglaugh

wow , the video with the reverse thing was crazy . Personally i prefer skydiving and base jumping to bungee

I sure did...

Helped me get over my own fear of heights.

And then, 6 months later, the same place had one of their cords snap after letting someone a bit too large take the plunge.

Thankfully, they had an air mattress already set up, and the guy walked away with only a sprained wrist.

Seriously, though... it was a rush, and I haven't really been afraid of heights since I dove off the ledge.
