Could The Adult Industry Use A Headhunter Company?
Just curious, why are we any different from any other industry out there. We definetely have the numbers and as time goes on the industry will consolidate even more and the hiring will become more professional orientated.
Do you forsee the industry ever utlizing a company that handled employee recruiting and "head hunting". Your thoughts? DH |
a few choice rolodexes is all it takes...compile and compare
|
Not headhunters per shahaha233;, but some kind of job agency, definitely.

Looking for a new business venture eh DH? Heh heh

If anyone runs with this idea I expect a 10% royalty cheque monthly though :pimp DH |
not a bad idea. after all the crap the adult industry has taken we should have some regulatory means to "filter" the the real prospects from the wannabe's.
This goes from "talent" to Players. If you have the shit and can play it, by all means come in. If not ... its simple, Fuck Off. :2 cents: :thumbsup |
Yep, I think such a service could end up being in high demand. However, it would require someone with good human resources knowledge and experience, as well as industry experience, in order to be run well.
|
I think that something like this is long overdue.
|
i believe there already is a headhunter that handles alot of adult jobs back in the states, including adultjobs.com :)

Recruiting is a massive market that almost anyone can get into if you have the "right" contacts to start out with plus can build out from there.

im recruiting sales reps at the moment so I guess a recruiting service would be nice.

girls who are cock teasing whores will get into any company.

Good thought.
Just curious how many positions are really open at any time. I mean, could an agency focus on this alone and be profitable? HH agencies charge a nice fee and I'm thinking a lot of the smaller companies would rather not pay that much. |
I get asked quite a bit for recommendations, suggestions, that sort of thing. The bad part is that when a company is looking for someone qualified to do a serious job, it's nearly impossible to find a person to recommend. Same thing when someone who's really got their shit together wants to find a new company to work with.
The rest of it is pretty easy for the most part, mid-level stuff and mid-level people float around much more frequently, and don't require quite the finesse in pairings that the top level stuff does. |

Sure, a few good clients per year and they'd be in business.
|
We get laughed at when we request resumes. I think it would be a great service, especially if you could pull from outside of the industry (hiring within is becoming useless).
|
Its all ready happening right here on this board :)
|
Excellent thread. Right now all one has is word of mouth and reputation to have credibility...

No, I don't like the idea.
