My 2 pound Chiahuahua was running outside with my bigger dog (sheppard) when 2 hawks came down full speed I swear they were going to grab my Tikki! Damn that was scary! :Oh crap

almost happened to one of ours at the petrified forest. gotta watch those damn birds of prey

my auntie lives on the studio city mountains up Laurel Canyon. She had a Chiahuahua a year or so ago till some coyotes came down the side of mountain and ate it. She was so devestated.

A friend of mine lives in the exact same area and owns a German Shepard.

Some coyotes got into the back yard and the Buddy (gr. shepard) fucked up the shit of this one coyote.

a hawk tried to eat skufty once.I think it thought he was dead- he doesn't move much unless he wants to - there was feathers and blood all over the yard and skufty didn't want too much dinner that night.

Yep, I knew someone who had a little dog up in their Lake Arrowhead cabin and a coyote got it in its jaws. Luckily that little dog was a fighter and made a loud enough yelp for everyone to hear and the guy nailed the coyote with his hunting rifle. The little pup was fucked up but recovered.

Same thing happened to my chi, except in was in my front yard. The hawks talons actually hit her and knocked her over. She was only about 1 lb at that time. She is now full grown and 3 lbs.
