.htaccess redirect question - Anyone know?

Hey,

Could someone please give me a quick lowdown on how to redirect traffic using .htaccess, I searched Google but coulodn't find what I wanted quickly so I thought I would come here..
All I want to do is redirect all incoming traffic to www.domain1.com to www.domain2.com

It would also be helpful if it's not too much trouble to explain how I redirect traffic from google and Yahoo! images and people attempting to retrieve videos that were on my site.

Thanks :thumbsup

I think you just put:

Quote:

Redirect * http://www.newserver.com/
in an .htaccess file in the root of the domain you want redirected
