lets see...
they lost £20 of mine when transferring it from my websaver to my switch card. it left the websaver, but never reached the switch card.
last month, a check that i had written bounced. i keep a minimal balance on my checking account for obvious reasons. at first i thought that it was because i'd forgotten to transfer the funds when i'd done writing the check (usually i write the check, transfer the funds, then send the check) but i found out that by looking at the dates through my websaver account, that the sufficient funds were there at the time that the check was sent. when i called in that weekend, i was assured that they would look into it and i wouldn't be charged a £28 bounced check fee. i have yet to receivce an explanation. it boggles the mind.
not to mention the fact that they charge anywhere between £7 and £40 to cash a foreign check, depending on its size, and £20 to make a wire transfer. there are other little things, like not having enough foreign check slips when i visit, or having cashiers that don't know how to fill them out properly, or which of those three sheets to give to me... but i won't go into it. :feels-hot
