Anyone ever watched the show "Scare Tactics" ??!
 

Funny i admit.. but what a stupid and irresponsible show...

For those how don't know the show.. its like Punked on steroid...

They take teenagers and make them believe they'll die any seconds now before telling them "Scare Tactics dude!! haha"

I couldnt believe my eyes, 3 of the pranks today, they had the person that was with the prank victim, "killed" in the other room... One was by a mob guy, the prank victim could hear screams and gun shots.. In another prank, one teen fat boy was slightly crying saying with a broken voice.. "man let me go.. i'm shiting my pants"..

One person could get seriously hurt or even killed on this show and it will be the actors playing the bad guys... When you think your life is on the line.. some skulls might get cracked..

Yep when I had scifi watched that and the channel all day long. I now have get digital cable to get scifi again. It has been a big loss :(

its obviously "partly" staged or they really are idiots. because in a few of those scenario's i would have killed the "fake killer"

They had this one with a guy moving stuff or something and the dude in the house was acting all strange then they found a dead body then the guy came back upstairs dressed like a woman , and smeared lipstick on her face and shit and the guy was trying to be all calm and shit ..

not me , as soon as that creepy crossdresser came into the room towards me i would have grabbed the nearest large object and start bashing it over the head fast and furiously.

I hate reality shows, luckily I've never heard of this one...anyhow, who's responsible is the 'victim' dies, I mean.. gets a heart-attack, or tries to flee the scene and falls off a cliff, or gets run over by a bus?

What a stupid idea.

This show has it moments although I have only seen a handfull of 'em. I do know that they were getting sued left and right by the person that got the life scared out of them.

Is Shannen Doherty still the one that runs the show?

yeah.. I thought also it could be somewhat staged... but I couldnt pickup any signs of acting.. usually it gets obvious after couple of lines... I'd have to watch more shows to really tell..

But yeah, one of the prank was with crazy retarded and skinny hilbily guys... I would have knocked them out... Maybe they make sure that the prank victims are a bit faggish.. which they were on that show..

actually they have this show in canada its part of "just for laughs" pranks you might have seen it , its been on for years and years , they do great practical jokes.. but they scare the shit out of elderly people sometimes.. and sometimes sort of juvenile stuff like dressing up like an alien hiding behind some bushes and jumping out saying " ahhhh " , they often do it to elderly , and im suprised none of them has had a heart attack.. lol

Why is that entertaining? I don't hate anything quite as much as seeing someone make a fool of someone else, trick them or scare them. Annoying, I really can't understand who wants to watch that shit.

as long as its good clean fun and nobody gets hurt i think its kosher , if your doing it to unsuspecting people that you dont know if they would find it funny , porb isnt the best idea..

It seems like the old shows with Shannon Doherty hosting were probably legit. But as I watch the newer ones with that Baldwin guy hosting, it is starting to appear fake.

Also, I swear the victim from the rat monster prank also starred in another one of their pranks as someone doing a prank on someone else. Kinda makes you wonder if they just re-use a bunch of different people like Jerry Springer used to.

Playing devil's advocate for a min, maybe they do not show you the ones where the person does react violently? This is not live here people, there are miles of tape that wound up on the cutting room floor, so there is no telling how many people got hurt making this show.

The people on the show also are set up by their friends right? Ever think that the people they set up are picked because they are not overly violent or reactive people, because they are slower to react with violent or they are what some would call cowards?

Did all of you train your brain to be so combatitive, or are you just saying you KNOW you would react like that..... Easy to say now, hard to back up when the shit hits the fan, even cops and military people freeze up at game time sometimes, but I hope you are as tough as you say you are so that you can make it out of bad situations

There was one I seen where a guy started wailing on one of the actors.

They picked up a "hitchhiker" and he ended up stabbing the driver who was in on the joke. The guy in the back seat was not in on it, and he started hitting the guy in the back of the head pretty good.

They were able to quickly stop the guy before he got too many punches in, plus he wasn't doing any damage because he was reaching over the seat. Maybe someone has a link to the video. It was funny because earlier in the scene he whispered to his friends that he wished he brought his knife with him. Could have turned out pretty bad if he did and never told anyone.

Does anyone have a link to the alien abduction video? I still can't find it. I don't know if it even aird. They shot it for the first season, but the victim filed a lawsuit against them for doing it to her. I guess they put aliens in her bedroom at night or something.

Shannon Doherty episodes were a LOT better, IMO
