Europeans: do you call them cars or autos?

would like to know. Thanx.

You do know that english is only spoken in the U.K in europe, and that 'car' is an english word. Where as 'auto' is more international. Just thought I'd let you know.

A car hole of course!

Moe: The "garage"? Hey fellas, the "garage"! Well, ooh la di da, Mr. French Man.
Homer: Well what do you call it?
Moe: A car hole!

Depends on whatever country of Europe...

You mean a garage, parking space, car park or at the side of the road? :)

The "thingy" construction with the roof over the car is called a garage.

Never heard the word "auto" used very often in relation to a car as in "Excuse me while I park the auto" WTF!!!

And the "thingy" at the rear end where ya dump crap is called a boot and the "thingy" at the front end that covers the engine is a bonnet in English. A hood is something the Ku Klux Klan wear.

US folks kindly note the rubber thingies (in relation to motor vehicles) that come in contact with the road are called tyres - not tires.

Excuse Webster for his gross errors in the English language. :winkwink:
