Dreamhost completely down???
 

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to check my site's stats and couldn't access them nor my whole site. As I wanted to login to my Dreamhost panel to contact support... also not accessible.

So, could anyone try to access both, my site (see sig) and dreamhost.com and tell me if I'm right or it's something with my connection?

PS: Damn, if it's really true and Dreamhost with ALL hosted sites is down - I'd better resolve this fast if I were them, cause there'll be a lotta REALLY angry money loosing people soon :pimp

Both are down for me also.

Because of the deals they offer they are now one of the largest hosts, so I wouldn't worry too much... Unless their unlimited bandwidth business model has failed. heh

Thanks man! That's REALLY bad. Especially as it's like what, around 5am on a damn Sunday? I'm really pissed when it stays down the whole day, because no one's there workin' on it.

OK, Dreamhost & my site are back on. Didn't take long - I dunno when it went down though. Maybe they read this thread :winkwink:

equinix might have 770gbits of innerconnectivity but i can tell you that isn't the size of the pipes leaving the building.

as I've mentioned in every post I've seen about dreamhost - dreamhost sucks, and the dreamhost sig whores suck :)

get used to this.. it'll happen every 3-4 months or so...
until your sites get big, then they'll turf you :)

Haha, I'd never host there, but I was trying to buy a domain hosted there -- and the guy's stats didn't work when it was down last night. Cost him a chunk of change.
