I want to review your site

I posted this yesterday in the traffic trade section, but since I have heard nothing I suppose it was the wrong place, so here goes again... Oh, and by the way: if I'm still in the wrong place, could someone point me in the right direction? -I'm sure there's a place for my post here on GFY :)

Repost:

Any webmasters interested in a review?

I'm just starting up a review site, see the url in my sig. Design and hosting will change soon, as I'm having some serious hosting trouble, but you can read a few of my reviews there now... Anyway, I write for other sites too, and right now my 2-do list is emty.

Add me to your list, ICQ: 10158691
I might be offline, it's early morning where I am, and I'm on my way to bed, but add me and we'll talk as soon as I'm on again.

Do not contact me by email as the hosting probs seem to have hit that quite bad... Mails don't reach me, and my mails don't always reach their recipient...

Before contacting me please know that I write honest and thorough reviews, if your site is nothing but a bunch of leased feeds then don't bother letting me review it, it'll be a waste of time for both of us... But if you believe you have a good site then I'd love to review it.

By the way I also work with Paul Markham whose site the reviews will also appear on when he launches.

Last thing: I can't do hentai / anime because I don't really get it, and I won't do anything too bizarre (japanese shit-bukake and that sort of thing)... Anyway, contact me and we'll chat...

Contact support of the programm you want to review directly.
I am sure they will help you out.
Owners don't have the time to contact you and reps here have another job.

mazdaman 04-08-2006 12:46 PM

yeh man, what is chili media btw?

gentmaster 04-08-2006 12:52 PM

Nice site. I wish you luck on your project. I'll ICQ you with some tips.

BTW what part of asia?

RRRED 04-08-2006 12:54 PM

Hi there.. I posted in Pauls thread to review the karups sites but I need to shoot him the user/pass. Can you shoot me an icq and I'll get that to you?

Like I said: Serious hosting issues... Some people can't even see the site :(

Anyway, it's a second priority to actually writing reviews, so still, anyone interested hit me up on ICQ...

The site will be completely redone within the next few weeks. -Just haven't had time to change my sig :)

That's what I've done up until now, but it is difficult when my mail is out of order :(

Anyway, the main reason I'm taking this approach is to give the little sites a chance to show themselves. It's no problem for me to find the mega-sites and getting access to them, but there are tons of great smaller sites out there that I might never find on my own.

Wish I had a dime for every 'review site' that never actually provided a review after receiving a login/password we provided.

Oldest scam in the book. Cheap way of gaining free paysite access - claiming to be yet another 'reviewer' with grandiose promises of sending heaps of traffic.

Webmasters - ask yourselves...when was the last time YOU stopped and actually read a review site?

Nicky 04-10-2006 09:21 AM

Nothing wrong with starting a review site if it's good original reviews. Just another way of getting SE traffic.

Ok, I'm kind of lost, are you guys doubting that I have a site at all?

Feel free to take a look at it, and I even have some reviews posted.... No, I don't have heaps of traffic, and I'm not trying to tell anyone that I'll be sending heaps of traffic to their program from day one, nonetheless I hardly think a good review will hurt anyone's site... And as for asking for passwords and never writing a review. -Well very clever, but why would I spend months setting up a site, if that was what I was doing?

People do read the reviews, and review traffic generally converts very well, provided of course that your site receives a good review...

Anyways, I'm not trying to twist anyone's arm, and I certainly don't promise anyone heaps of traffic. Still, in the long run I might generate some amount of traffic, that will benefit whichever sites I write about... I clearly state that I'm just starting up.

Paysite-Tryout 04-11-2006 07:30 AM

Too late to edit... sorry...

Anyway, if my site is not proof enough then you can always PM Paul Markham and verify that I work for him... I guess he has a name you recognize, and I hardly think he would need to scam his way to paysite access ;:1orglaugh

Your sites just scares them and leaves them speechless....its all the abandoned warehouses... :thumbsup
