Wordpress help needed
Quick question for u guys that know your way around wordpress,
it seems that by default in wp, new posts and categories are generated with ?p=number and ?cat=number,is there a plugin i can use so it genereates static files for posts like title-of-post.html, also have it generate categories like /category/categoryname instead of what it uses by default? thanks |
It's in permalinks on the admin. I think that's what you are after.
Scotty is correct. Under Options>>Permalinks you can set this option. There are some predefined options and the WP Codex goes more in depth.
You people are always asking for help, can`t you do anything by yourselves?? On my planet we don`t need help
Make sure you chmod your .htaccess file so that WP can write it, if you're using funky permalinks.
RTFM first then ask
So what if his question is basic - at least the answer is providing some info that others may need in the future.
Would you rather see another "I lost my Fleshlight in a limo" or "There's a cactus growing out of my penis" post? |
