How many shows will you attend this year?
 

In the next few weeks we're going to sit down and plan out when and where we're going. With so many shows it's getting crazy. I'd like to hit a few good gatherings, and then go on a real vacation somewhere.

How many have you or will you be attending this year?

I know I'm not going to Cybernet and I'm definitely going to Miami.

Still thinking about XBiz Vegas.

Are there any types of shows in the UK?

Nothing planned for this year. Things could change though...

I haven't seen any, unless they are small and/or local....seems the closest one might be Berlin....

We might attend Fetishcon in Florida this August. But we're largely undecided at this point.

i've been trying to plan the rest of the year this week too.
so far, I'll be going to Xbiz Summer, Miami & then the proposed Vancouver show in Sept.
With a vacation somewhere in between those shows to either LA/San Diego/Baja or Costa Rica. This is in between shooting new content/updates for my paysites in Vancouver, etc.

LA for sure, and I wanna go to The Island Gathering.

I think it will be 6 this year for me...

XBIZ SUMMER FORUM is the one I am MOST looking forward to :winkwink:

Definitely Cybernet. Probably XBiz. Webmaster Access. Other than that, I've been cutting back. I love hanging out with everyone from here and the shows are really fun. I hear ya on the vaction, Steve, because, for the cost of bringing 1-6 SpookyCash people to one of the shows, I could just take me on some pretty darn cool vacations.

I get kind of annoyed at the disappointing return on investment. Sometimes I find good new affiliates or a new service or new program to promote or am more motivated to promote a program I already knew about after a show. But, more often, drunk people who are out of their element tend to unsell me on stuff I was totally ready to buy.

There are so many shows now that a lot of people will be missing from any given one.

The culture of the shows has been evolving in this weird direction where there are people who are all "but aren't we friends?" when you want to do some business and "it's just business" when you expect them to act like friends.

Like every year I'm doing Cybernet Expo, Internext Florida and YP Mexico (after having done PHX and Vegas Internext)... and that's about it. I did 8 shows last year and while I enjoyed them all... i just don't have the time or get the ROI to bother with more. 5 or 6 a year is optimal for me now.

Are you going to be coming out with any video content for Scar13?

This year i'll be at Cybernet Expo, the Xbiz summer forum, Internext Florida, and Webmaster Access West

If enough folks want to promote it, I will make it so.
