Wordpress Question - Is there a way to add the same link across multiple blogs?
I need to add the same link across a whole network of blogs, is there any easy way to do that other than adding them one by one?
|
Sorry but I have no clue. But if you figure it out, could you add this link for me? http://amateur-facials.com :winkwink:

not that I know of :( you could put a php include/readfile in the footer of every blog and just have them all read it from a remote location. So you wonth have to worry about changing them all again. if that makes any sense....

Put it in one of the template files, then upload that template to all the blogs - :) 2hp |

On a similar note - does anyone know of a Wordpress plugin that'll expire links after a certain date/amount of time?

do an include for a file on a specific domain and add that bit of code to every blog - then whenever you update that file you'll have a link on all your blogs...

Jace, you need to be more specific. There are about 6 ways to do what you described. Does it HAVE to be in the links section? If, so that blogroll doodad should do it. Otherwise, just pick a mechanism for calling the same links to multiple blogs. SSI, like georgeyw said, or even RSS. With like FeedForAll, you can create your own feed to include the links you want to display on the blogs. All of these are outside-the-post solutions, btw. 2hp |
create your own rss feed http://www.makemoneywithporn.com/create-rss-feeds.html

Go to your link manager and import the OPML file from your previous blog.

Hmmm good question. Actually I typed a lot more but cut it out and since it was off topic and put it in a new thread. I'm wearing grey boxers.
