Can someone add something to GFY please.
 

I would like a little add on or script made. One where you can add in users you personally define as idiots. Script then checks to see how many of these user defined idiots are currently logged in percentage wise on total logged in users and then gives me a graphical gfy idiot meter.

Umm that would really depend on knowing how many people I personally think are idiots.

I'm amazed sometimes at the things people will get in an uproar about and the the same people turn there head to blunt racist comments ... it's crazy

That's an easy to add module in almost all forum software. It allows other members to not only rate threads but to rate users. That would be a really cool idea.

However, if you think GFY has a lot of fake nicks now it will multiply 10 fold so people can give bad rankings to certain users. What they can do is allow the Senior members of GFY (10k or more posts maybe) be the only ones that are allowed to rank other users.

It's a great idea and there is a way to make it work.

What about Senior Member Idiots ?
What about Idiots who will soon have 10k postings ? Will you let the New Senior Member Idiots rank others ?

What's on the other end of that spectrum? Allowing EVERYONE to rate users? Imagine all of the useless fake nicks that would spawn just so users can give bad rankings.

You are right ! That´s why I wouldn´t allow user reputation. No one should be able to rank anyone else because the final result will be: More Idiots than ever before !

I just think you can´t define everybody just because of 10k+ postings as a non idiot. Here are lots of good people registered for years and they are far away from 1k postings. To declare them as "not senior enough" or "not good enough" is just wrong. What about people who post in 1-2 month around 1k times each bullshit ? I don´t think it is smart to give them the power to declare others.
