2257 software -- good solutions that aren't a ripoff??
We are currently using a database developed in-house for 2257 records, but are looking to switch to a web-based solution that's accessible anywhere (thinking in advance that this may be needed for secondary producer docs).
I've done a little searching around, and haven't found anything that (a) doesn't look like it was churned out on 2 days notice (b) isn't ridiculously priced (I've seen packages from $1000-8000!!! For a simple database app!!!) (c) seems robust and would lend itself to deploying as a web-based application. This isn't rocket science -- our custom CMS is more complex than our 2257 requrements -- but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if somebody knows of an existing application that already does the job. We'd like something written in PHP with a MySQL backend, that supports scans of images (for IDs), and also allows separate but linked storage of additional information (such as releases), since DOJ regs requre that 2257 records cannot contain releases or med test results or that sort of thing. Anyone know of a good, robust product? |
Bumpety bump... anyone have any good software suggestions?
