whos tried paid gallery spots?

I am considering a paid gallery spot on a large TGP... going for $1k, has anyone tried this? what were your results?

Better know what youre doing. Most listings are very expensive and its easy to lose 500 bucks or more on a 1k spot.

ditto. Try some submit passes first and then test the traffic
