I was on my hands and knees all weekend
 

I found out that I have asthma from the doc on Friday, so I decided to rip out all of the carpets from the house - starting with the main bedroom

We picked out some really nice cherry hardwood (why does everything seem to have a sex implication now? "cherry" - get it?) but it took two 15 hour days to get it done, and I can hardly walk today :arcadefre

the break from the computer was nice, tho

I was too except I was cleaning my carpet, and moving....I feel for you!

Allz I can say is that, I hope my back gets better in time for my wife to pay me for all this work:Graucho

I didn't know you could "get" asthma, I thought it was something you were born with. Or did you have it all your life, and just not know about it until now?

I was diagnosed at 9 myself. I think in kids it's caused by environmental pollution, whether it be a family member smoking, smog in the air, crap like that. With adults it's often brought on by severe stress.

Well, honestly I don't know a helluva lot about asthma

I figure with me, I used to have allergies, really bad when I was young, and I don't have them as bad now, but it seems to have moved into the lungs

I'll have to learn about it now, I suppose :)

I developed asthma from a severe case of bronchitis (my lungs shut down completely)...I was a long distance runner in school and never had so much as a wheeze until after this bronchitis...I have a friend who delveoped it as a kid and eventually outgrew it.......

I was also front and center at the implosion of the Dunes hotel in Vegas, so that probably did some amazingly nasty damage to my lungs as well........
