Whats is the process for reclaiming a domain.


I accidently let one expire a few weeks ago and now I'm being told it is gone. Isn't there a grace period where I should be able to buy it back?

the grace period depends on the registrar and can be anywhere from 5 days to 1 month.
After that the domain gets into redemption period which means the registrar
said fuck it and the domain is pending removal from the domain database
time at which the domain will be available for registration

Apparently, I had one of those one day deals.

Where would someone file a complaint about that?

you can hit icann.org altho its hard to get an answer from them.

they answered me pretty quick
