Teach surfers to make porn?

Has anyone tried putting up a site that would tell the surfers how to make money with an adult website?

You could in theory make a killing if you took a bunch a newbies and told them what programs to use:
Find a host that has a partnership plan if you bring them new business. recommend an AVS with your referral code, sponsors etc...

I was thinking of this doing this myself, but it would take awhile to create a decent looking site.
So I'm asking if anyone has bothered with such a plan & did it pay off?

Mr.Fiction 05-06-2002 02:51 AM

Isn't that what every one of these webmaster resource sites is doing? There are more of them than there are TGP's.

here's someone's attempt... http://www.adultwebmasterschool.com

Isn't that what the resource sites are doing :Graucho Anyway this a werry tight business and times are harder then ever. Maby 0.0001% off your porn hungry surfers might make a dime and you make 10% off that dime. Most off them will probably wank them self to death while making sites :2 cents:

... itīs useless, but teaching your members to make some bucks when refering a friend to signup is quite good though ...

Hmm thats a good idea. "Reffer a friend get one momth free" Someone has to have tought about that already right ?

LoveAsianChicks 05-06-2002 02:57 AM

http://www.adultwebmasterschool.com is very close to what I was thinking, except I wouldn't charge a dime.

Payment would be made by referring the surfer to say 'BigPlayers' then teaching how to submit to tgps, and make the money off their workk.

funkmaster - what members are you taking about? I run a few tgps, I have nothing to give away for free.

... been doing this for a while now, call it your lucky day ... the funkmaster has revealed a big buiz secret ... copy and exploit my style ... pleeeeeeeeease !!

LoveAsianChicks 05-06-2002 03:07 AM

funkmaster - there is a problem with your "tgp database" I want some asian links so I click on the asian category and the page is blank.

Or I try more categories and they are all blank. Your page says 10 links updated daily per category.
Where are they?

funkmaster 05-06-2002 03:32 AM

LAC, try again in 1h ... that damm thing got stuck during the update, thanks for letting me know ...

LoveAsianChicks 05-06-2002 03:33 AM

no problem, I might start using it on a new tgp I want to launch.

Pathfinder 05-06-2002 03:37 AM

I am working on it slowly but surely at my webmaster resource site.

Guys, that adultwebmasterschool.com is brilliant. $140?! I bet he sells the hell out of that tutorial... and for what it's worth, he deserves every penny.

Damn, check out all the places adultwebmasterschool has been "seen in".. CNN, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, TechTV, etc.. if even half of those are true, he must be making a TON from all those dot-com employees looking for a way to make some money with computers..

But come on, it must be a very low percentage people who can enter this business and be making similar numbers to the average salary in the US within a reasonable amount of time - I'm sure most people give up after a few months, even if they have a guide like this.

I think globill has had that option for a while now. I was considering using them just for that purpose but I really don't like their stats.

I would prefer to use ccbill. Maybe they will have something like this soon, or maybe they already do and I don't know about it.

I don't like the misleading statement on his site. "Work for only and hour a day!" ...no one is going to make shit worth of money working only an hour a day.

Amen.

Even more newbie webmasters??? Yeah, that's what this business needs.

Good point about the turnover rate in this industry. There are many levels to this industry--those who do it for extra income, those who do it full time, and those who build giant networks. Each level has their turn over rate and burnout trajectory. Regardless, new competition should not be feared. If anything, it forces us to innovate and work smarter/harder.

FlyingIguana 05-06-2002 08:38 AM

new competition should be feared. it drops how much money you make. hard to be innovative when within a couple weeks 20 people steal your idea...

deluxe 05-06-2002 10:07 AM

We don't need any surfers that submit more shitty 100 pics tgp galleries to the hun...

If you do want to make a buck with this sales pitch try www.turnkeybucks.com $100 per sale :)

It is a low percentage...but even those who fail...they paid that $140, so this guy won't be losing sleep ;)

Although I have to wonder if someone who actually paid to learn this stuff might be a bit more motivated to put some effort into it....I wonder if the abundance of free information has been more damaging than TGP's...the fact that webmasters (especially newbies of the last year or two) may get lazy and expect everything to be done for them or need a hand held every step of the way....newbies these days have access to all types of automated scripts and shit that just didn't publicly exist when I started....programmers who could code this stuff would never sell their scripts...they kept them for themselves...
