So happy I came home!

Some people say dogs don't have a long term memory. Well boy am I lucky, because Missy sure seemed to remember me! I picked her up from my mom's and she was soooo happy to go home! :)

Fuck that - they do.

Not to turn sour here but my dog died after I moved away from him, and to this day I think that had a significant impact on his will to live.

And when I got back from Phoenix both my cats slept in my suitcase, and on it before I left.

Animals are a lot more receptive than people often think.

I do not think most people think they do not have a long term memory, I think it is that they have no sense of time. I.E. why they are just as happy to see you after you leave for 10 minutes or 10 hours.

Cute pup. My dogs are the same when I leave for any length of time.
you have to like unconditional love. :thumbsup

I agree, Elli...and your baby surely looks happy to see you.

I've got five dogs..one of which is my special boy...he is all over me for the first ten minutes....then he stops talking to me for two days....turns his tail in a huff.....after the third day, once he realises I'm home to stay for a while, then and only then, does he talk to me. :)

hehe that's too funny. I used to have a cat that did that. :)

My kitty cat was very glad to see me at home... he was extra cuddly and demanded I make up for all the petting he missed out on while I was away. Animals make great friends!

We once lost our dogs for almost a week. Dad forgot to lock her at the house when he was about to go to his work and he didn't notice that the dog was chasing his ride.. It seems like she don't remember me anymore when a friend brought her back to us.

for as long as you are good to them they will surely remember you
