how many REAL friends do you have?
i'm going through quite a hard time at the moment and i'm thinking a lot.
there is one positive things about going through rough times. You will realize who your REAL friends are. Not just buddys having a great time with you, but people being there if you need someone to cheer you up or give you a good advice... In my case there are 3 friends who are there for me if i need them. And i would be there for them if they need me. so how many people would you consider REAL friends? |
I guess three, maybe four if I can add my cat to the list
|
2 and that's enough when we think that most of ppl don't get *any real friends*
|
i would say 6
|
only stupid people think they have friends

5 or so...

I found out not so long ago I have quite a few....
was also in a phase where I found out who I can count on and who I can't. |

now it is your time to be there for them if they need you:thumbsup |
One BEST friend who puts up with me saying I cant go out tonight, I gotta work on my site. Poor girl. lol
I have a couple close friends but I dont know if I would count on them for much. |

And it's been TOTALLY verified for me considering recent events. For that small group, I will do ANYTHING for, and for LIFE! :) |
my dad told me as a kid that nobody has more than a few true friends - and he was right. the people most people refer to as amongst their friends are just people sitting near them on the bus of life - people who are around you because of work, a shared interest, social/marital status - those pass and so do 99% of those 'friends'. Think back to college if you went to college - and all the friends you had - how many are you still in touch with? High school the same thing. First job, second job, etc -
Most lasting friendships are made when you are younger - when you have the luxury of time to bond and maintain a friendship - as you get older people have too many other things going on to worry about and tend to to forge and maintain true friendships. |
I can definately say 3 for sure that would be there for me regardless and have :) And of course I've been there for them to the same extent. And boy have we been through some tough shit.
|
real best friends 3.
bunch of drinking/partying pals :) |
I have only a handful of friends..but those are the friends I've been with since even before they were born. The part of town where I live is really inbred, our parents all knew eachother, all of their parents knew eachother etc..
that being said, my future bestman and 'closest friend' lives in another country and I see him 3-4 times a year. |
Never had to test it, but maybe 2 if I'm lucky. One is a guy, the other is a girl. I've known the guy since 5th grade, and I've known her since 9th grade.
|
+- 2 :)

2. Both people I would take a bullet for. And I'm sure they'd return the favor. If not, I'll just use them as human shields.
|
im not sure...
|
7 I can think of that would be there no matter what.
You don't really build up that many of those kinds of solid friendships though until you're older and have known someone for 20 to 30 years. Anyone who is still a friend after that much time has stayed with you during any rough times you've gone through. |

i knew some guys for about 10 years but after this time i recognized them as no real friends but rather buddies |

Six (counting my wife, parents and in-laws).
|
Real best friends, I would say about 5

I have 3 that I know I can count on for ANY reason.
:) |
3 that owe me a lot of money.

?!?!?!? you are sure they are friends and no gold diggers ? |
Couple of years ago I thought that I had lots of friends (about 7) but now I really think that you can only have 1 friend, maybe 2 at the most :)
However, my father told me when I was a kid and I think that he was right - your best friends is your family :thumbsup |

i've got some.

i got 2 real friends....
|
real?
zero :( |
Define 'real friend'? Everyone thinks only about themselves, it's not in the human nature to care about others, we're not dogs. Hell even a dog will leave you if someone else offers it a cookie. As long as it makes *you* happy.
Sure, your 'real friends' might be there for you, but only if it does not cost them too much (money, time, effort, etc). Think about it, how much would *you* sacrifice in order to make your friend(s) happy? |
About 15-20 close friends.

QUOTE] I hate thinking alot, the other day I went to turn the radio down in my car, wel it wasn't on. My thoughts were just screaming. You have REAL friends, just dont expect them to pick you up and carry you to something better ;) |

whom you'd consider REAL friends ? |
maybe 2 friends, 3 at most.
|
I can say I have 3 true friends who I know will be there for me during my tough times. I don't make friends easily.
|
Lots of buddies..all my true friends have gone away
|
One, my wife.

AMEN Bro |
Probably 3-5 people.
|
as you grow older your definition of "friend" changes. you start to differentiate "friends" from "buddies" and you realize that its not the people you get to see frequently that matters, but those with you in the toughest of times
|
I never needed to really count on my friends... but real friends will also tell you when you're making a mistake.
Personally, I have probably a couple... at least 4 that I know of... couple other close peep, but I try never to depend on people arround. |
Less the a handful..
|
the few friends that i would consider really close and would be there with me and have been with me through anythying would be girls, i can only think of one of my guy friends who i know will be there and has been there through anything and everything. There are five people I would drop anything for.
