Special Thank You from the Phoenix Forum!!!!!!!

To all the 2006 Phoenix Forum Sponsors and Attendees:

On behalf of the Cadwell Family and the entire CCBill/Cavecreek/DRM Networks and CCBill EU team, we would simply like to say ?Thank you?Thank you?.Thank you!!!?

The overwhelming support and participation from everyone who attended this year?s event helped to make it the most successful Phoenix Forum to date, and I truly hope that everyone had a fun and productive experience at this year?s Forum.

I would especially like to thank all our 2006 Forum Sponsors. Each of the sponsors went above and beyond to make this a memorable weekend for everyone attending. Please take a moment to view the Sponsors list at http://thephoenixforum.com/index.php. And if you have a minute, I encourage all attendees to drop a quick ?thank you? email to the sponsors who you know or met at this year?s Forum. The bottom line is that the Phoenix Forum would not exist without our Sponsor?s support.

As you might imagine, today has been full of conversations about this past weekend?s events. And as we tend to do here at CWIE headquarters, we are already thinking of the ways we can improve for the 2007 Phoenix Forum. We would love to hear from you with any suggestions you might have for next year?s event. Your feedback is important to the success of the event. Some of the things we would like your input on are:

1) Overall, did you have a positive experience at this year?s Forum? If so, what did you especially enjoy, or what would you like for us to change?

2) Do you like the Tempe Mission Palms as the event site? Would you support the idea keeping the programming and events at the Mission Palms, but have exclusive hotel rights at both the Mission Palms and another conveniently located larger hotel site, such as the Courtyard by Marriott for hotel room overflow?

3) Was this year?s event environment and level of attendee participation (registration 1000+) adequate for you to actually get business done?

4) Do you have any Seminar topic suggestions for next year?

5) Did you use the Networking Guide? If so, did you find it helpful? Do you think you will continue to use it post-event?

Please feel free to email your comments and suggestions to: [email protected].

Keep an eye on our Phoenix Forum website. We hope to have the Picture Galleries up by later this week. But, if you would like to review the 2006 Seminar Webcasts, they are ready to be viewed at: http://thephoenixforum.com/2006webcast.php.

Lastly, I would just like to offer a special ?Shout Out? to Steve Lightspeed ?Mama & Papa CCBill both say ?Thank You? and they LOVE their Lightspeed Jerseys!

Once again ? thank you to all. And we hope to see everyone back here in Phoenix next April for the 2007 Phoenix Forum.

I found it incredibly helpful. Believe it or not, the Networking Guide helped me get through my Canadian Customs interrogation faster than had I not had it.

Harley Girl 04-03-2006 05:53 PM

Thank you for an amazing show... Smashbucks was proud to a be sponsor at this years Phoenix Forum ( we will certainly do it again next year )

everything from the registration to the snack bar was incredible. You've out done yourselves making this my favorite show EVER!

As for improvments, i honestly can't think of anything that you haven't already done!
The networking guide this year was so helpful - i've spent most of my day going thru the book and plugging away at emails with all the information you've put together.

GREAT JOB CCBILL!!!!

seeric 04-03-2006 05:53 PM

Actually, right back at you. I can't thank you guys enough. Putting that show together is an amazing undertaking. You have one of the best staffs I have ever seen with any company, even in the mainstream world. They are the ultimate hosts and every year it gets better. Mama and Papa CCbill are very nice too. I'm glad I got to meet them.

Thanks Ron.

Thank you to the CCbill staff as well, specifically Mark, Sean, and Dr. Wicks.

:thumbsup :thumbsup :pimp

SteveLightspeed 04-03-2006 05:54 PM

The generosity, effort, and attention to detail given by the CCbill crew is what makes the Phoenix Forum the best convention of the year, and this year was no exception!

Shannon and I are very grateful for all the opportunities that The Phoenix Forum has brought to us, and we are very happy to be part of it.

Thank you CCbill and crew, and all the other sponsors for making Phoenix Forum 2006 such a perfect event for everyone!

And to Frank and Joanne, presenting you with your jersies was my proudest moment at any show ever! I can't wait to see the pictures.

Sincerest thank you for everything!

Steve Lightspeed

WiredGuy 04-03-2006 05:55 PM

Thank you for an incredible event, this event was by far one of the best I've ever been in for this business. It was also an honour to meet your parents and family at this event.

What he said.

The Phoenix Forum has been the best show of the year for the last 3 years running. I'm already looking forward to next years show. :)

MaDalton 04-03-2006 05:59 PM

it was more than perfect, thanks a lot to the whole crew at CCBill. the network guide is great and helps a lot to remember who you were talking to and not to forget to get back to that person.

and for the size: it doesn't need to get bigger - it was never too crowed, but always enough people to hang with

and the hotel is perfect, they just need to add some more rooms :winkwink:

i will be back :thumbsup

CheeseFrog 04-03-2006 05:59 PM

Normally I'm the type who takes shit for granted, but after this even in Phoenix I gotta say I'm truely amazed at the planning, resources, and effort that went into this event. It's hard to imagine how this event could be put on for $0 admission to the participants. Absolutely infuckingcredible. The food/drinks were off the heezy! Internext are you paying attention? :thumbsup

Aly 04-03-2006 06:01 PM

Thanks so much to Ron, Sherri and all the CCBill crew.... That was one hell of an event!

I'll get that feedback to you.

Cory W 04-03-2006 06:01 PM

Best show I have ever been a part of.

We are already coming up with new surprises for the Saguaro Soiree next year :)

Aly 04-03-2006 06:05 PM

Oh.. and the networking guide is indispensible.

I imagine, now that people have a better awareness of it, next year's will be even better.

It's sitting open on my desk right now and I doubt I'll be closing this particular book for a long time!

CherryLipsRosa 04-03-2006 06:11 PM

It was a great show !!!!

avalanche 04-03-2006 06:15 PM

Great show! Keeps getting better every year!

baddog 04-03-2006 06:19 PM

Great show, at a great venue. If I could only attend one show a year, Phoenix Forum would be it.

If they could have the road construction completed by the next one that would certainly help. Thank God for GPS. :)

JFK 04-03-2006 06:21 PM

Fantastic event Ron, thanks for having me:thumbsup The F.U.B.A.R. Pics will be up by tomorrow:thumbsup

Elli 04-03-2006 06:27 PM

This was THE smoothest, best organized, and most successful show I've attended since I started attending them in 2001. The CCBill staff were so attentive. I think I was asked every day if I was having fun or needed anything by one or more of them. As for the questions:

1) Overall, did you have a positive experience at this yearhahaha8217;s Forum? If so, what did you especially enjoy, or what would you like for us to change?

Absolutely! The event timing was great - one major dinner and then one major party afterwards, and then lots of suites and whatnots going on. It made it easy to poke my head into everything to see more people.

Yes and yes.

3) Was this yearhahaha8217;s event environment and level of attendee participation (registration 1000+) adequate for you to actually get business done?

yes and yes and yes.

4) Do you have any Seminar topic suggestions for next year?

I would personally love to see more women on the panels. There are many women in this industry who can speak to the topics as well as the men and may offer a different perspective.

5) Did you use the Networking Guide? If so, did you find it helpful? Do you think you will continue to use it post-event?

Yes absolutely. It needs more photos and slightly better organization, but it is already indispensible.

Major (Tom) 04-03-2006 06:29 PM

It was truly a great show Ron.
Thanks!

Xenophage 04-03-2006 06:29 PM

Ron Thanks so much this was an excellent show got much accomplished was waited on hand and foot ! Thanks to all the sponsors who helped pay for food , drinks and ice cream :) All the great parties, man I am burnt out froma fantastic event looking forward to next year already !

MrVids 04-03-2006 06:33 PM

After Vegas Internext, my faith in shows went out the window. I had no intention of going to another. Brett J from dormbucks assured me that I would be forever branded a fool if I did such a thing w/out going to the Phoenix Forum...

While it's likely i'm still branded a fool, he was absolutely right. That show was amazing. You guys at CCBill are really a class act, and definitely strengthened my faith in the industry.

I was able to meet tons of new people, conduct plenty of business, as well as have one of the best party fests of my life.

CCBill, well done.

I'd also like to shout out to the sponsors, thanks for helping to make the event possible. You guys have all moved to the top of my list of whom to do business with.

Black Dog 04-03-2006 06:39 PM

Feedback sent.

Thanks to Ron and all the sponsors for keeping the Phoenix Forum one of the best shows year after year.

Elle Sommers 04-03-2006 07:01 PM

It was so great meeting you Ron! I had a truly awesome time, and we picked the perfect show to "pop my cherry". My only fear is that you've set the bar too high, and no other show will ever compare!!!

Eric 04-03-2006 07:08 PM

RonC,

When sponsoring an event we expect greatness. Not only did you guys provide on that promise. You supremely over delivered. We are happy to say that we sponsored and look forward to sponsoring future shows.

May all your staff be commended knowing that every single one of them stepped it up a notch to make sure that individuals attending and sponsors were more than well taken care of.

Thank you

WiredGuy 04-03-2006 07:12 PM

Ohhhh, I forgot to add, whoever thought of the Mojito station during the welcoming reception is a genious. I was by that station the whole night, thanks for catering to my specific needs!!

Anna_Miller 04-03-2006 07:12 PM

The entire event was forum! Everything was impressive and well done from the seminars to events to the friendly hotel staff.

Thank you CCBill/Cavecreek/DRM Networks. We willdefinately be back next year with our crew.

Seska 04-03-2006 07:26 PM

This was my first time attending I found the experience incredibly productive and enjoyable. I liked the venue very much. The schedule was not overwhelming so I had the opportunity to speak and hang out with a variety of people without running all over town to do it. The Networking Guide is a great tool that our team will defintiely get good use from.

Thanks to CCBill and all the sponsors!

RudeBrett 04-03-2006 08:12 PM

Ron what a great show you all at CCBill put together with the support of all the great sponsors. We were happy to bring the PornPokerTour to the forum and we will definately throw it again next year. Thanks for all the support and providing us one of the best shows of the year.

Zprogramz 04-03-2006 08:26 PM

Great show. I wish they would do the same thing in a beach type setting. Phoenix is not the most desirable place. How about the Hawaii forum?

sexkeydwayne 04-03-2006 09:03 PM

Will email you guys shortly with my comments but first I had to give the sponsors and organizers another thumbs up on a job well done.

Based on the responses in this thread already and the positive feedback I was hearing at the show, I hope you all realize that your efforts in organizing the single best webmaster networking and business opportunity every year ... isn't going unnoticed.

BT 04-04-2006 12:00 AM

Thanks Ron its always a pleasure you have made this show the best one of

them all over the years and for that You get the golden forum award from BT

Gaybucks 04-04-2006 03:12 AM

Ron and co:

This is the third year we've been at Phoenix Forum, and it was by far the best, though each of the previouis years have also been incredibly valuable. AJ and I got more business done at this show than in the past 4 shows combined.

I would very strongly advise against moving Phoenix Forum to another hotel; the Mission Palms setup couldn't be more perfect for networking. I do think that having another exclusively-booked property would be a good thing.

The Marriott was nice but grossly overpriced compared to the quality and service at the Mission Palms; we were at the Palms last year, but didn't book soon enough to get rooms this year.

We're sponsoring the Gay Phoenix Forum in October and look forward to working with the CCBill team to participate in that event as well... I'm quite certain that with CCBill handling things, it will be an outstanding event as well.

LAJ 04-04-2006 07:39 AM

IMO the Phx Forum has reached near perfection. I've been organizing shows for 3 years and this last show impressed me the most!

Raven 04-04-2006 07:41 AM

As Dr. Doug and I discussed the other night, it is my opinion that this forum rocks as it is. The venue is perfect. The organisation is top notch.....and, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You've got a successful formula......keep on rockin'.

And, thank you and all of the sponsors who participated for providing an environment for networking and business opps.....

Plus, the chocolate fountain. :)

LittleC 04-04-2006 07:45 AM

Hello Ron,

Guess we were both so busy to not be able to make it to a business meeting LOL. But was great seeing you doing fine.

It was one of the greatest shows I've attend for sure. Am impressed !

I do want to mention that Doug, Sean and Melissa deserve credit for being such great hosts & taking care of all the guests so very well !

Anything I asked for - it got arranged by either Doug, Sean or Melissa.. And I'm a spoiled bitch hehe !

Love you guys & see you in Amsterdam !

xoxo

spunky99 04-04-2006 07:59 AM

definately was a great show, would be really hard to top this one..

the hotel was great, never seen a hotel bend over backwards so much to make sure everyone was taken care of, even driving us on wednesday night in a shuttle bus to jack in the box and not getting mad at us for having 20 people in a room while the neighbors complained..

plus cant believe how much was taken care for us, 1st show that didnt cost an arm and leg.. great job all around :)

The Adult Broker 04-04-2006 08:13 AM

Ron,

thanks for one of the best shows of the year! My shoutout/contact list from this show is the longest one to date of any show!

I don't think I would change much for next year... CCBill (and the awesome lil machine Sherri D.) did an impeccable job on this truly business affair.

One comment... I emailed many, many times inquiring about sponsorship opportunities for my clients but never got a response. :( That is about the only bummer. I will try for next year.

Great to see you, I will follow up with Laurie on biz opps!

Thanks again for an awesome show. I did a ton of business.

C u soon.

LBBV 04-04-2006 08:27 AM

On behalf of NationalNet, I would like to say thanks to CCBill and all the great sponsors that made this show what it is. Having been in this industry as long as I have, I find the shows a necessary evil and attend them mostly out of obligation, however, Phoenix is the ONE show that I actually look forward to. I credit this not only to the wonderful venue, but to the attention to detail that is put into this show.

Invariably, you'll hear somebody grumbling about one thing or another at a show, however, this is the one show where you hear nothing but good things. The atmosphere is excellent which puts everyone in the perfect mood for doing business together.

Special thanks to your awesome staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this the great show that it is :thumbsup
