It was all BUSINESS BUSINESS BUSINESS... at least for WebcamCash and the people I spoke with.

We all like to mix business with pleasure (to quote a competitor of mine), but this show seemed to lean hard towards the former. The layout of the hotel certainly helped; that courtyard was the ultimate networking venue. And it doesn't hurt to follow my simple show rules:

1. Know who you want to meet at a show and set up the meetings BEFOREHAND
2. If you have no meetings, hang out in the lobby and NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK
3. Attend every official show event that you possibly can
4. No drinking until the night parties. And save the heavy partying for your buddies at home.

shows are a delicate balance of getting stuff done and still not buzzkilling people that want to have a good time as well with too much work talk. its an art.

You're absolutely right. PF is the one time that all industry players are there and this time nobody acted like they were too good to know anyone. I had the best time ever. Only one person out of all the people at the show looked at me during our cocktail party and said, 'keep your fucking dollar'. (so I did)
