Epiccash, Jim, and Pimpdog ? here comes the pain?

Also, I would like to add (to extend an olive branch) we did and ex-member mailer to Epiccash which pulls 20-50 joins for any other program we mail, but for some reason only did one join for Epiccash.

The whole reason Epiccash ever sent one click to us at all, because Epicjim (in a moment of total stupidity) accidentally mailed our affiliate manager instructions on how to shave Epiccash affiliates and sent us traffic to shut us up. Which we did. I?ve sat on this quietly for a year but if pimpdog wants to spit on my friend's grave, if Jim want to post stats and shit like that ? the gloves are off and here comes the pain.

If you promore Epiccash, I would think twice after reading this ? if they are fucking people like this, can you imagine how much of a scam the rest of the program is:

Epic has been mostly relying on remote boxes to get webmasters to send traffic to our "4free sites"

I want to move away from this and have them track as our normal sites track...and i want to track payouts at $1.50 per email..
Emails will only count if the DOUBLE opt into our system and are not already on the list...

We will also totally overhaul all the member directories in these sites to have many "1click" opportunities...these will also be available on the auto responses which i want to be templated so i can customize them..

ONLY AFTER THIS STEP WILL THE AFFILIATE GET CREDIT

So..user visits site....enters AGE,Email addy.....they are sent an auto response to activate their membership which leads them to our info page...they fill in required info and only then will they have access and affiliates are paid.

When the first auto response is sent to the surfer i want the ability to send a duplicae auto response from another email collection program as to maximize our returns...


I would like a realistic ETA on this as it is becoming more important to what we will be doing in the future with the possibility of some mainstream opportunities.

i dont get it (as much as i would like to see it). the only potential for screwing the affiliates would be if the "duplicate" registration form was used as a way to tell the affiliate that Epic already had the email address therefore no affiliate credit for the registration. i don't see that mentioned specifically so i'm not really sure you are making a valid point about screwing the affiliates.

am i missing something here?

Jay, that isn't anything having to do with shaving. That is a standard 4free program system. You gotta have the double optin along with that other step as a means to make sure the surfer is an actual person and also to make sure they speak english.

The rest of it is simply filtering the joins so they can send out the appropriate niched advertising. For price per email, it's gotta be structured that way to squeeze as much out the free members as possible.

I see nothing there that points to shaving whatsoever.

Hell, I can see for myself in the letter there's no shaving involved.

I have noticed quite a few freeemail programs switching to methods like this. Is it shaving ? not really .. is it a bit deceptive to both the webmaster and the surfer ? possibly..

The problem is when programs make you triple opt-in like that is if they dump the single/double opt's or use them..

When i say "triple" opt-in i mean 1 click send the email , the double optin is when the user clicks the link in their email , the triple opt-in is when they have to enter more information..

Just curious if you guys ( epiccash ) send email out to the surfer even if the webmaster doesnt get credit ?
