question that perplexes me in regards to traffic
 

When it comes down to buying hard text links on sites it seems some people have a problem with it.I mainly think this is from them not knowing how much their spots are truely worth and would rather put upa gallery in hopes that it makes money rather than knowing a true value for their spots. Opinions? Why is buying hardlinks so damn difficult?

Traffic leaks != less conversions in the affiliates mind.

I'm a little confused. You mean the buyers seem to buy gallery links instead of buying a text link? Or the sellers dont understand how much their text links are worth compared to their gallery spots?

I admit I've never done either, so maybe I'm missing out. I'd guess though that I would prefer a click from the hard link direct to a killer converting tour that matches the site perfectly. As long as it's not blind, and it's on a site that is a super good match for my tour.

I believe some sellers dont know the true worth of their advertising space period,and would rather gamble with sending to paysites and pray to the signup dieties

Sorry to sound a bit spammy, but I know exactly what our text links are worth; 2 cents per unique surfer (traffic from US, Canada, UK) for top of page placement.
