I finally joined myspace.com
It was in my todo list for almost 2 years, but each time i saw the crappy pages, i thought i can do it next time :)

I want to understand what the fuck it's all about.
I browsed the pages for 15 minutes and all i saw was some crap.
What do people really do there?
Number 10 on the internet. Fuck.

I found it could be good for:
- dating
- forums (rather crappy and not well sorted)
- finding classmates
- finding some people that are interested in the same music artist as you are


What else?
What do really people do out there?
Do you know anybody that likes myspace?

It seems all the people love myspace, but webmasters :)
I practically force myself to click on links on that site.

myspace is good for NewsCorp aka Fox News aka Rupert Murdoch because its an addictive trend that 50 million people are addicted to.

you're nothing but banner impressions and dollar signs to them. they dont care about you.

Its where kids and newbs. Mainly kids though. They can hang out together and talk shit, spread rumors, chill when they aren't together, its late, they are grounded etc... It is not for adults if you ask me, at least not those who know their way around the web.

I want to understand why all the people are that addicted to this site.
Millions of people can't be wrong.
There should be some main thing that makes all the people come back.

I have heared a lot that myspace was mainly for kids and that the main strategy that brought myspace to this victory was making a site with knowledge what kids want.

Hmm.. My friends use it for the bulletin posts which usually results in mass quantities of people showing up at happy hour. When you use it to network amongst your own circle of friends it can get interesting. My one friend has a seven degrees of Myspace theory which involves him having fucked every female in the city.

It's basicly the IRC of the old days version 2 ... really shitty if you ask me.

I think the photography of the of age chicks in general on myspace is inspirational. Its the kind of stuff I've always tried to shoot, but even better. Some pretty ugly girls I know in person look so fucking hot on their myspace sites.

it's for self absorbed kiddies who are to cheap to buy a subscription to match.com or adultfriendfinder...

I really don't understand why people like it either its a load of crap really
