Does anyone here make decent money using domain parking?

Sedo is working the best for me, I have tried pretty much everything else.

Plus it gets a lot of interest in your domains if you want to sell them

You get paid for number of clicks on ad?

You get paid for all clicks from unique IP addresses on textlinks. 5 clicks from the same IP on 5 different ads will count as 1 click.

how much do you actually make? I have like 15 domains I could use for this....

It depends on the sites category, but I'm averaging about $0.15 per click.

With the right domain(s)...
You can retire off Domain Parking :)

im averaging around 10 - 15 cents per click there btw

well no traffic, but could start generating traffic..

Organic Traffic for Parked Domains...
is the only way to make real money in the long run!

What that means? Find Names that have Natural Type in Traffic.

parking sucks, just make a website if your getting typein traffic

btw clicks on sedo are more like 5c - 8cents per click, for mainstream

I've never gotten under 10 cents per click on SEDO

you need significant portfolios to park with them.

I would suggest you have a look at Name Drive. The landingpages look very nice and your landingpages are easily modified. I had some luck with sedo, but they lack tech support, and those landingpages don't look that well. A very nice added feature with NameDrive is that you can park your domains for 1 month and sell it to them going from 6 to 96 times monthly profit. For ex. Let's say one of those domains is making 5$/day (very doable!) you can sell that domain for at least 900$! (6 times monthly revenue).

I had some spare domains lying around, from some project I did not finish. Pointed them to Name Drive and sold them all for between 200$ and 1000$/domain.

I also have a few typo domains (don't worry, no TM domains) who are making around 20$/day at NameDrive without work.

Give them a try, park your domains there, and check them out for a week.

You will be pleasantly suprised!

Some of my domain are getting a 55-60% CTR. At 6 cents/click that's 36$ for 1K of front page traffic. I cannot possibly do that well with adult sponsors.

those domains are terrible for a domain parking service. You need domains that gets typein traffic for it to be worthwhile. Even then, your probably better off making your own landing page and adsense or affiliate links.

if i recall correctly, google wont do domain parking unless you're pushing 750,000 pageviews daily...or monthly it may have been

They really outta outlaw domain parking. Seriously. Maybe some of the domain whores would stop then.

i'm pretty sure what the other person meant was to put up a 'made for adsense' site which has some content but in reality is meant to create clicks on your adense ads.

SedoPro works much better than the standard Sedo - nice customized landing pages and much higher CTRs etc - especially for adult names - and Ive tried some others but still keep coming back although Im always willing to try something new with these 1150 domains :)

SEDO has worked well for us with some nice revenue....
