I heard a bunch of people talking about an epic swell "50 year storm"

damn, them some big waves.

I always want to laugh when i see people trying to surf in florida. Can you call them waves in florida? Maybe when theres a storm off the coast you can surf here, but even then, the waves arent that big.

Gulfcoasters rarely have waves.. but I have been a few hurricanes that landed me on the news.

this surfing comp in going on right now in Newcastle Australia , its 2 hours North of Sydney , i am 5minutes drive from in , all the big name surfers are in town for it
