? about NATS links

I'm checking out a program where some of the links when you get to the join page the nats= info is different than the affiliate link. Does this ever change during the tracking process or does that mean that these links will be credited to someone else? I'm only using one other NATS sponsor and none of their links does this.

Hi,

can you contact me on ICQ 1889711 so I can take a look? There are multiple reasons why it might be changed, but I just want to be sure.

In my case for some reason the links were all generated in lower case.
Must have been a temporary problem as the program's ad tools page is generating them properly now. Thanks to Nathan for helping me solve this quickly:thumbsup

The legitimate reasons are when for example there is a link to more than one site on a gallery, the code needs to be changed for at least one of them... Or, for example eurorevenue changes them to allow for better customized join pages, because options can easily be targeted to programs, and they display different options on the join pages depending on the country you are from, you get credit for all sales, but they are tracked in seperate programs all paying the same amount.

There are a lot of other things you can do with NATS which would require you to do something like this.

Hope this answers your question :)

Followup: I found that it's the script that I am using to deliver the links that is converting them to lower case... The problem wasn't with the aff program or their NATS script.
