Blog gurus inside pls: wordpress, future pings and SE's
 

First of all i need a plugin to let my blog ping sites for scheduled future posts. So that it doesnt ping when i create the post, but when the post actually appears on the blog.

It doesnt work on any of my blogs. Didnt find any other plugin on wordpress.org.

Second, is this disability of future pinging by wordpress only bad for pings, or does it also affect SE's? Id say only pings for the sites its pinging, since SE's crawl the actual page, but just to make sure.

It would be great if anyone got an answer on these 2 questions.

well, it seems i got it thanks to a WP forum user... he gave me some pretty useful links, including an older version of the wp plugin - here is it: http://weblogtoolscollection.com/plu...cron-update-1/
and this one does seem to work properly... gotta check it several times to make sure though. (btw im running wp 2.0.1)
