YouTube.com cracks down on copyrighted video
 

LONDON (Reuters) - The popular online video site YouTube.com, which lets users upload clips and share them with others, is blocking pirated TV and movies by limiting videos to no more than 10 minutes.

Wow.. how about all of the 9 minute movies they stole from We Live Together?

I bet only 2% isn't copyrighted at the most

They'll just split them in several 10 minutes bits.

Not that hard.

There are some great clips there. Just watched South Park where Chef gets malled by a bear and a mountain lion.

That site is going to lose a lot of traffic.

YouTube is a great site, I like it alot better then google or yahoo's video site.
I love there slogan, "broadcast yourself" - pure genius.

i searched for brian fellows a week ago, cause its a funny skit from SNL, but they removed it a week after i watched it previously

But this copyright limitation is fucking me off, I send around 20k visitors a day to their site and now the closed my account because of one 2 minute video that seems to be copyrighted. And they don't answer my mails...

did they send back good traffic?
