How come there's no black race drivers?
 

Ever wondered about this? When was the last time you saw a black guy in Formula1? Or any other racing series for that matter? I'm not into every motorsports out there, I mainly follow F1, WTCC and the FIAGT series, and I don't recall ever seeing a black dude behind the wheel.

What gives? Can't black people drive for shit? Or do they have problems staying focused for long periods of time?

Hell,I think there's more female drivers out there than black guys..

I believe there is one black race car driver, and yes, there have been a few black hockey players. Every now and then you see where the media, or their team, sport, etc make a big deal about it.

I don't think nascar is a good example considering the amount of redneck fans lol.. but every other motorsports has drivers from every nationality, everything from germans, to japanese to mexicans.. everything except blacks..

perhaps... however, i dont believe being smart makes you a better racecar driver.

being a race car driver requires holding the wheel with both hands and sitting up straight in the car. Most black guys have a 40oz in one hand and lean so far right that they can stick their heads out the passenger window.

Exactly. You'll find a basketball court at pretty much any park in the city. To play all you need is a ball. When you play football in high school you can pretty much get the school to pay for everything minus the cleats. Car racing cost money, hockey equipment costs money and you have to be in some type of country club to play golf. It's all about money and access.

Not to mention...A black man would get no support in Nascar. As we all know Nascar is made up of mostly southen country white men. Even the announcers have a country accent.
